Conference "Energy efficient modernization of the industry" in the Donbass-Arena Kiev (13/10/2010): On 21 October 2010, in the Donbass-Arena in Donetsk, a German-Ukrainian Conference on "Energy-efficient modernization of industry" took place. The conference is aimed at a professional audience, in particular from business representatives.

The event is supported by the German Energy Agency, System Capital Management, Siemens, the Donbass-Arena, the Ukrainian business association USPP and the Ukrainian-German Forum.
The conference is held under the German-Ukrainian Energy Forum, which carries out the message of the Federal Republic of Germany this fall with a number of partners.
The Energy Forum is dedicated to energy efficiency in industry, housing and communal services as well as renewable energies. On 16
September it was held with a conference on "Retrofitting of large housing estates" in Kiev's opener.
In Germany, energy efficiency and renewable energies play a central role in the sustainable energy and climate protection. Above all, policy initiatives of civil society have the theme already established in the 70s and 80s. Since then, the energy and environmental technologies have undergone rapid development. Today Germany is among the countries that have in relation to the economy of the lowest energy consumption. In Ukraine, the production of "green" energy and increasing energy efficiency great potential, with Germany can contribute with experience and technology to development in this area.
On the eve of the conference (20.10.) Place at the Hotel Atlas clock at 19.00 with a welcome reception hosted by Consul General Klaus Zillikens.
