Vienna (pts101123019): The board of UNIQA Versicherungen AG has decided in its meeting of 23/11/2010, the Board of UNIQA Versicherungen AG as of 1 to expand in July 2011 to Löger Hartwig, Wolfgang Kindl and Kurt Svoboda.
The board of UNIQA Versicherungen AG team will ensure that from 1 July 2011 - the date of handing over the CEO Konstantin Klien to Andreas Brandstetter - alongside the existing members Andreas Brandstetter, Hannes Bogner, Karl Gottfried Unger and Wanitschek three other experienced insurance experts belong.
Hartwig Löger will assume overall responsibility for operating insurance companies of the group in Austria at the holding level (with the exception of the Raiffeisen insurance). The responsibility for bank sales, and in particular to Austria, Raiffeisen insurance remains as before at Andreas Brandstetter. Wolfgang Kindl will be responsible for international operations of the group. Kurt Svoboda will take over the agendas of risk management and reinsurance.
All board members - including the new ones - are 30 September 2013 ordered.
All three new board members Insurance experts are experienced and successful for years in responsible management functions of the UNIQA Group.
Löger Hartwig, born in 1965 in Styria, is since 2005 responsible for the exclusive distribution of the UNIQA Group.
Wolfgang Kindl, born 1966 in Vienna, since 2005 CEO of UNIQA International Versicherungs-Holding GmbH, and in this role was responsible, among other things, the group companies in Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria.
Kurt Svoboda, born 1967 in Lower Austria, since 2003 the Managing Director at UNIQA Finanz-Service GmbH for Corporate Planning,, controlling financial strategy.
